Causticized Lignite may be used for rheology and filtration controls in water base mud’s and for helping maintain a constant pH. It is especially effective at stabilizing the property of mud’s exposed to high temperatures and contaminations.
It is especially effective in high temperature applications and in dispersed systems as a synergistic additive with Lignosulfonate. It can be used in any water base fluid.
It is used for thinning and filtration control purpose in water base muds. These additives are used for fluid loss control, stabilize the rheological properties and works in all fresh water and salt water mud systems.
Causticized Lignite is used for Rheology, Filtration Control and PH Control and doesn’t require additional Treatments with Caustic Soda .It is very effective in Muds Exposed to High temperatures. Normal recommended treatments range from 1-10Lb/bbl (2.85 Kg/m3-28.5 Kg/m3)In high Salinity Systems please Premix in fresh water to enhance Dispersability.
