API 13A Section 9 Bentonite – High Yield Sodium Bentonite in Tehran

Filtron Envirotech (India) supplies API 13A Section 9 certified sodium bentonite – a high‑performance clay additive for water‑based drilling systems. This naturally occurring montmorillonite clay is processed to achieve maximum yield and hydration efficiency. Used extensively as a primary viscosifier and filtrate reducer, it meets the stringent requirements of oilfield, waterwell, and geotechnical drilling. Our product is shipped worldwide from our Delhi facility.

This bentonite grade rapidly disperses in fresh water, building a stable gel structure that keeps cuttings in suspension while the mud is static and flows easily when circulated. The fine particle size ensures deep filtration control, creating a smooth, low‑permeability wall cake that minimizes differential sticking. Beyond drilling, it serves in slurry trenching, diaphragm walls, and as a low‑permeability sealant for ponds and landfills. Its API compliance guarantees consistent performance across batches.
