Our asphaltic compounds are manufactured at our Delhi facility and are effective across all mud systems – water‑based (WBM), oil‑based (OBM), and synthetic‑based (SBM). These additives are exported to drilling operators worldwide who face troublesome shale sections, swelling clays, and dispersion issues.

The asphaltic shale stabilizer works by plating out onto shale surfaces, forming a hydrophobic film that blocks water invasion and prevents hydration swelling. It also seals micro‑fractures and reduces high‑temperature high‑pressure (HTHP) fluid loss. Unlike conventional shale inhibitors, asphaltic products contribute to filter cake quality and emulsion stability, especially in invert emulsion fluids. This dual‑action mechanism delivers superior borehole integrity while reducing differential sticking risks.
